LW001 has been replaced by LW001-1.
Previous Leopard 1 road wheels in plastic, and indeed replacement ones from the resin manufacturers, have one thing in common. None of them have any detail on the back face of the road wheels or idlers. This set remedies this fault. They also remedy problems with the proportions of the Meng and Takom wheel features.
Our wheels compared with the Meng offerings
The road wheel axles need to be shortened to 3 mm. The idler axles are OK. Drill out the holes from the rear just to clean them out.
They slip onto Meng axles without problem. Takom is a slightly tight fit, but not a problem.
The road wheel axles need to be shortened to 3 mm. These wheels were designed for Meng and Takom axles so the fit on Italeri/Revell axles is a little loose, so be careful to line them up.
